WI members and Associates were invited to write a humorous sketch with at least one reference to the WI, lasting no more than 10 minutes and using between two and six characters.
Christine’s entry was ‘An Evening with the Feline Federation’.

All the owners have gone off to the monthly WI meeting, leaving their cats to attend their own Feline Meeting in Dustbins Close.

'The evening begins politely enough, but soon their feline instincts emerge when Tai Chin, the exotic Siamese speakers, begins her talk.....'

There were 132 entries received from 62 Federations.

The Lady Denman Cup will be presented at the NFWI AGM in June, 2008.
