Annual Council Meetings Diary of Events Spring Countdown CFWI Events   Royal Cornwall Show One of the highlights of the year is the Royal Cornwall Show, where the CFWI's marquee has become renowned as a good place to have a cup of tea and a welcome sit down. It is also the perfect opportunity for WIs to show off their skills in the Royal Cornwall Cup Competition, which is organised by a different sub-committee each year, the Barbara Reed Trophy for Crafts and the Floral Art sections. We are also represented at Stithians Show and Launceston Agricultural Show. Throughout the year, the CFWI Executive Committee and Sub-Committees organise events and activities for members. Committees meet on a regular basis in order to plan as varied a programme as possible, to cater for a wide variety of interests, at the same time fulfilling the aims of the WI. Venues are carefully selected, so that every-one has the opportunity to choose something within reasonable travelling distance. It is a great opportunity to learn something new and to make new friends. Please check this section frequently, to keep up to date on what is happening out and about in your Federation.
